LIXIL to Double Local Production with New Hyderabad Plant

LIXIL Corporation plans to establish a 5,00,000 sq. ft. window manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, to strengthen its domestic production capabilities under its LIXIL Housing Technology (LHT) India business.

The new plant will complement the company’s existing window manufacturing facility at IMT Manesar, Haryana, and expand production of pre-engineered aluminium window systems and sliding door profiles. The expansion is expected to increase the local production ratio of its TOSTEM brand in India from 30% to over 60%, enhancing product availability and customer service.

LIXIL’s manufacturing expansion will be supported by its retail network of approximately 160 partner companies and over 150 showrooms across 130 cities in India.
